This post shares an example of how to calculate the partner commission from booking made with the Hotellook. 

Travelpayouts offers various programs in the Accommodation category (hotels, apartments, hostels). The amount of revenue is different for each program. 

Most brands on our platform pay a fixed percentage of the booking price, which remains the same for every booking.

Some brands share a floating percentage (up to 50%) of their revenue with our partners. Their income depends on the booking price and a number of other conditions. The average hotel reservation is worth USD 400. This means an average income for hotel brands is $30 per reservation, of which our partner receives $15.

Please note: the example is given for information purposes. Actual revenue can be either higher or lower depending on multiple factors.

A number of brands pay revenue per click by the Book button instead of paying per completed booking.
