This guide shares links to Hotellook mobile apps and explains how to work with them.                 

As of January 2023, the Hotellook iOS application no longer supports partner ID tracking. There are no changes to the Android app.

What happened

Unfortunately, as of January 2023, the Hotellook team no longer supports partner ID tracking in their iOS mobile apps. For this reason, we can no longer guarantee lifetime attribution to partners for application installs on iOS.

The iOS mobile application still works – it's only the conditions for attributing user actions to partners that have changed. More details on the changes can be found in this article.

There have been no changes to the Android mobile application.

iOS

How it used to work

If a user visited www.hotellook.ru with a partner ID and installed the mobile application on iOS, then the partner received a reward for all sales through this application. At the same time, the application was assigned to the partner forever.

How it works now

• If a user installs the Hotellook mobile app with one partner ID, but then follows an affiliate link with a different ID, then the booking will be assigned to the last partner.
• If a user installs the Hotellook app with your partner ID, but then the user follows a link without an ID and makes a booking, that booking won't be assigned to you.
• If a user installs the Hotellook app without your partner ID, but the user clicks on the link with your ID and makes a booking, that booking will be assigned to you.

You can still view the statistics regarding mobile app installs in your report.

The Hotellook iOS application supports the following languages (determined automatically based on the user's device language):

Android

We pay revenue to affiliates for the sales made through mobile applications.

If a user goes to www.hotellook.ru with a partner ID and installs the Android mobile app, then all sales through this app are rewarded to the affiliate. 

The user of a mobile application is assigned to the affiliate forever.

The Affiliate ID in the address is a unique identification code for a partner.

Important: If a user's device already had the Android app installed and removed later, re-installation of the application with an affiliate link will not assign it to another partner.
