Learn how to place affiliate links and search forms using the WordPress plugin.
To start placing tools, sign up for the Travelpayouts and install the plugin upon instruction.
How to place links
1. Go to the WordPress Editor and open the webpage that you want to place the link on.
2. Click the Add a block button, then click the Travelpayouts icon:
3. Click Links in the menu and a form with settings will appear.
4. The form where Aviasales is chosen by default will launch:
5. Fill out all the required fields (marked with an asterisk). You can leave other fields without changes.
Settings for Aviasales links include the following fields:
- Link Text – Accounts for what text will be shown on the webpage
- From – Indicates the departure city in this field
- To – Enter the destination city in this field
- Type – Choose whether to search for one-way or roundtrip flights.
- Departure – Today + (days). Specify the time period for the departure date.
- Arrival – Today + (days). Specify the time period for the return date.
- Open the link in a new tab – Here, you can choose search results to be displayed in a new tab when clicking the link.
- SubID – Enter the SubID.
6. Click Save after filling out the fields. The link to the hotel search has been created.
How to place widgets
1. Go to the WordPress Editor and open the webpage that you want to place the link on.
2. Click the Add a block button, then click the Travelpayouts icon:
3. Click Widgets and select the brand's program.
4. Click on the Settings button next to the search form widget. In the window that appears, you will be able to customize the form.
5. After configuring the form, click on the Embed widget button.
