Learn how to track the performance of your referral link and referrls
After sharing your Travelpayouts referral link, you can track how it performs and monitor your progress in the referral program.
In your Travelapyouts account you can see:
-
The performance of your referral link:
- how many times it was clicked
- how many users signed up through it
- how many of them started earning
-
Your progress in the referral program:
- how much referral reward you’ve earned;
- the potential reward you could earn;
- how much reward you’ve received from each referral and their progress through reward levels.
All statistics are available on the Referral program page.
You can learn more about how the referral program works and how rewards are calculated here.
Your referral progress
This section shows the main metrics of your referral program and your progress in it. Here you can find:
- Your total reward — the total amount of referral rewards you have already earned from invited partners. These rewards have already been credited to your balance.
- Potential reward — the maximum amount you could earn if your active referrals reach all reward levels.
- Earning referrals — the number of invited partners who have already started earning with Travelpayouts.
- Signed referrals — the total number of users who registered using your referral link.
- Link clicks — the number of times users clicked your referral link.
These metrics help you understand how effectively your link is being shared and how many referrals have started working with the platform.
Rewards from your referrals
The section shows detailed information about each invited referral and how their earning progress matches with you rewards. The section becomes visible once you have at least one earning referral.
For every referral you can see:
- Referral & sign-up date — the date they registered on Travelpayouts using your referral link. We don’t disclose personal information about partner’s names, but we add a random name anyways to make it easier to go through stats.
-
Your reward progress — you receive referral rewards when your referral reaches certain earning milestones. There are three reward levels:
- $100 — when the referral earns $500
- $200 — when the referral earns $1,500
- $300 — when the referral earns $3,000
If a milestone has a checkmark and the amount is highlighted, the reward has already been credited. If the progress bar is partially filled, the referral has started earning but has not yet reached the next milestone.
- Your reward — the total reward you have already earned from this referral.
How to analyze your statistics
Your statistics help you understand how effective your referral strategy is. Pay attention to the following metrics.
-
Number of sign-ups
If you see many clicks but few registrations, you may want to adjust how you present the referral link or where you share it. -
Number of earning referrals
This metric shows how many invited partners actually started earning with Travelpayouts. If few referrals are earning, there may be several reasons:- they registered recently and simply need time to get started
- the audience you attract may not be a good fit for Travelpayouts
- your referrals may need more guidance on how to start earning. Try sharing useful resources or best practices to help them get started.
-
Reward progress
This section shows which referrals are already generating rewards and who might soon reach the next reward level.
