Contest rules for the “Your Best shot” promotional campaign.

These Contest Rules (the “Rules”) govern the photo contest “Your Best Shot” (the “Contest”) conducted by Travelpayouts. The Rules are prepared in accordance with applicable law, the Travelpayouts Partnership Agreement, and the Privacy & Cookies Policy. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time. Where feasible, the Organizer will notify participants of material changes via its official channels.
1. ORGANIZER AND GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. The Organizer of the Contest is Go Travel Un Limited, registered in Hong Kong under number 1658681, legal address: 31/F, Tower Two, Times Square, 1 Matheson Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The company operates under the trademark Travelpayouts (hereinafter — “Travelpayouts/Organizer”).
1.2. The Contest is conducted online through the Organizer’s official channels, including, without limitation, Instagram and Facebook, the Contest landing page, the Travelpayouts dashboard, and email communications (collectively, the “Channels”).
1.3. Participation is voluntary and free of charge. By entering the Contest, a participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Rules.
1.4. The Contest is not a lottery or gambling activity. No purchase is required to enter or win.
1.5. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. By participating, each participant releases Meta Platforms, Inc. from any responsibility related to the Contest.
1.6. Definitions:
| Drive: | a Travelpayouts tool available in the Partner dashboard; Drive functionalities are modules/features of Drive that can be enabled/disabled. |
| Drive functionalities: | separate components/modules of Drive that a partner may enable/disable. |
| Drive enabled: | Drive (or applicable Drive functionality) is enabled for at least one participant project, as reflected in the dashboard and internal logs. |
| Flow 1 (Stories): | entry via Instagram Stories with a tag/mention of the Travelpayouts account. |
| Flow 2 (Landing): | entry via uploading a photo on the Contest landing page. |
| Base Prize / Doubled Prize: | prize amount depends on whether Drive is enabled (Section 6). |
2. CONTEST TIMELINE AND FINAL DATES
2.1. The Contest is conducted according to the following schedule (GMT+1):
- Flows via Instagram (Stories/DM): entry period — May 26–29, 2026 (inclusive); final voting on Instagram — May 30, 2026.
- Landing flow: entry period — May 26–June 8, 2026 (inclusive); winner selection and announcement — June 10, 2026.
2.2. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Final Dates for operational reasons. Any updates will be communicated via the Channels.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1. The Contest is open to travel creators who:
- are at least 18 years old;
- have an active account on the relevant Social Network (for Flow 1); and
- comply with these Rules and applicable platform terms.
3.2. The Organizer may disqualify a participant who violates these Rules, submits false information, infringes third-party rights, uses prohibited methods (including bots or automation), or otherwise engages in abusive conduct.
3.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, each participant may submit one entry per Flow. Duplicate submissions within the same Flow may be treated as invalid at the Organizer’s discretion.
4. ENTRY MECHANICS — THREE FLOWS
4.1. Flow 1 — Stories with Tag/Mention
To enter Flow 1, a participant must, during the applicable Final Dates:
- publish a travel photo in an Instagram Story;
- tag/mention the Travelpayouts account as specified in the Contest post; and
- provide a valid email address to confirm entry and satisfy the consent requirements under Section 8.
The Organizer may repost tagged Stories during Flow 1. On each day of Flow 1, the Organizer may select the best photos based on engagement signals across the entire application collection period, including but not limited to reactions to Stories. Selected photos may be included in a final voting round for Flow 1, conducted as specified by the Organizer..
4.2. Flow 2 — Landing Page Upload
To enter Flow 2, a participant must, during the applicable Final Dates:
- upload a travel photo via the Contest landing page;
- provide a valid email address in the entry form; and
- confirm entry and provide the required consents under Section 8 via the form.
The Flow 2 winner is selected randomly from eligible entries (Section 7.3).
5. CONTENT REQUIREMENTS AND RIGHTS
5.1. A participant may submit only content that the participant owns and/or has sufficient rights to use and share, and which does not infringe third-party rights (including copyright, privacy, and trademark rights).
5.2. Submissions must not contain unlawful, offensive, hateful, explicit, or otherwise prohibited content and must comply with applicable law and platform rules.
5.3. By entering the Contest, the participant grants the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, repost, display, and otherwise publish the submitted photo and the participant’s public username solely for Contest administration, showcasing entries, announcing winners, and related Contest communications.
6. PRIZES (BASE AND DOUBLED)
6.1. Prize amounts. Prizes are awarded per Flow as follows:
- Flow 1 (Stories): USD 400 (Base Prize) or USD 800 (Doubled Prize if Drive is enabled)
- Flow 2 (Landing): USD 400 (Base Prize) or USD 800 (Doubled Prize if Drive is enabled)
6.2. The winner receives the Doubled Prize if the winner has Drive enabled as of the time specified by the Organizer for winner verification, as reflected in the dashboard and internal logs.
6.3. Prize delivery method. Prizes are delivered as an equivalent-value credit to the winner’s Travelpayouts account balance (in the dashboard) within a reasonable time after winner confirmation and compliance checks.
6.4. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash outside the Travelpayouts platform, except as required by applicable law.
7. WINNER SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT
7.1. Flow 1 winner selection.
The Flow 1 winner is determined based on the final voting mechanism communicated by the Organizer (e.g., voting among daily selections).
7.2. Flow 2 winner selection.
The Flow 2 winner is selected randomly among eligible entries using a randomizer / random number generator. If a participant enables Drive, the participant receives an additional entry (“second ticket”) in the Flow 2 draw, as confirmed by the Organizer’s dashboard data and internal technical logs.
7.4. Winner announcement. Winners may be announced by:
- updating the Contest post description;
- publishing stories;
- emailing the results to participants who provided an email address; and
- contacting winners directly via DM and/or email.
7.5. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to provide information reasonably required to deliver the prize within 14 days, the Organizer may select an alternate winner.
8. EMAIL COLLECTION AND MARKETING CONSENT
8.1. Providing a valid email address is required to confirm entry in each Flow.
8.2. As a condition of entry, participants are required to consent to receiving Travelpayouts marketing communications (including emails about Travelpayouts products such as Drive, promotions, and newsletters). Participants may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email. For avoidance of doubt, withdrawal of consent may limit the Organizer’s ability to deliver certain communications, including Contest-related updates, where email is the primary communication channel selected by the participant
8.3. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.
9. COMMUNICATIONS
9.1. The Organizer may send administrative and service communications related to the Contest (including entry confirmations, Drive-related information, selection/voting updates, results, and prize delivery instructions).
9.2. Participants are responsible for ensuring their email address is accurate and able to receive messages (including due to spam filters or inbox capacity).
10. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
10.1. The Organizer processes personal data necessary to administer the Contest, including, without limitation, Social Network usernames, email addresses, submitted photos, entry metadata, Drive status (for prize doubling and/or additional draw entry), and related communications, in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.
10.2. Participants may exercise applicable data protection rights by contacting support@travelpayouts.com. The Organizer may request information to verify the requester’s identity.
11. LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS
11.1. The Organizer is not liable for Social Network outages, landing page issues, tracking disruptions, third-party outages, email delivery failures, or participant-side technical issues.
11.2. The Organizer does not guarantee that any participant will win.
11.3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer’s liability in connection with the Contest is limited to the value of the relevant prize.
12. TAXATION
12.1. Prizes may be subject to taxation under the laws of the winner’s country of tax residence. Winners are solely responsible for their tax obligations.
12.2. If necessary, the Organizer may request documents from the winner required to comply with tax requirements or anti-money laundering (KYC/AML) requirements.
13. MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION
13.1. The Organizer may modify these Rules or terminate the Contest early in case of force majeure, technical issues, fraud, or changes in policies/law that make the Contest impossible or impractical.
13.2. Where feasible, the Organizer will provide notice via official Channels.

14.2. These Rules come into effect upon publication and remain valid until the Contest ends and all Organizer obligations to winners are fulfilled.
14.3. Participation in the Contest constitutes full acceptance of these Rules.
14.4. The Organizer reserves the right to final interpretation of these Rules.
14.5. If any provision of these Rules is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
