Learn what is a minimum payout amount and how it affects when you receive your payouts.
The minimum payout amount is the amount you need to accumulate on your balance before Travelpayouts can send you a payout.
How the minimum payout amount works
Payouts are generated automatically once the following conditions are met:
- your balance has reached the minimum payout amount for your selected payout method;
- the required amount was accumulated from confirmed bookings made before the end of the previous month;
- your payout details are filled in correctly.
Earnings from the current month are not included in the current payout cycle. They can be included in a future payout after the month ends.
Why a payout may not be created even if your balance is high enough
Your visible balance may include earnings from the current month. However, to receive a payout in the current month, you need to reach the minimum payout amount using earnings from previous months.
For example, today is February 11. Your balance is USD 550, and the minimum payout amount is USD 500.
However, USD 100 of this amount comes from bookings made in February. This means only USD 450 was accumulated before the end of January. Since USD 450 is below the minimum payout amount, the payout will not be created in February.
How to set a custom payout limit
You can choose to receive payouts only after your balance reaches a higher amount than the minimum payout amount.
To do this, set a payout limit in your payout settings. Once your balance reaches the amount you specified, Travelpayouts will generate the payout automatically during the next payout cycle.
This can be useful if you want to accumulate a larger amount before receiving a payout.
What happens if bookings are canceled
If previously paid bookings are canceled or adjusted, your balance may be reduced. In some cases, it can become lower than the minimum payout amount or even negative.
If your balance is below the minimum payout amount at the time payouts are generated, the payout will not be made.
