Contest rules for the “Back to School” promotional campaign.

These Promotion Terms and Contest Rules (the “Rules”) govern the promotional campaign “Back to School” (the “Promotion”) conducted by Travelpayouts. Under the Promotion, eligible participants may complete 3 educational assignments and, subject to these Rules, receive an enhanced Viator commission rate and enter prize draws for a cash prize and an exclusive Travelpayouts school kit (merch).
These Rules are prepared in accordance with applicable law, the Travelpayouts Partnership Agreement, the Privacy & Cookies Policy, and applicable advertiser program terms. The Organizer may amend these Rules at any time and, where practicable, will notify participants of material changes through its official channels.
1. ORGANIZER AND GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. The Organizer of the Promotion is Go Travel Un Limited, registered in Hong Kong under number 1658681, legal address: 31/F, Tower Two, Times Square, 1 Matheson Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The company operates under the trademark Travelpayouts (hereinafter — “Travelpayouts/Organizer”).
1.2. The Promotion is conducted through the Organizer’s official channels, including email communications, the Travelpayouts dashboard, dashboard banners, dashboard placements, the Drive section and other official communications.
1.3. The Promotion is intended for selected Travelpayouts partners and selected leads identified by the Organizer based on campaign criteria, including account status, website/project status, language, geography, dashboard activity, booking activity, Viator availability, Drive activation status, Drive functionality status, and other relevant technical or business parameters.
1.4. Participation is voluntary and free of charge. By participating in the Promotion, a participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Rules.
1.5. The Promotion is not a lottery or gambling activity. No purchase is required to participate or win.
1.6. Definitions:
| Assignment: | one of the 3 tasks sent by the Organizer as part of the Promotion. |
| Drive: | a Travelpayouts tool available in the Travelpayouts dashboard. |
| Drive functions: | separate components/modules of Drive that a partner may enable/disable. |
| Targeted Offers: | a separate Drive functionality available in the Travelpayouts dashboard, where applicable. |
| Switched Links: | a Drive functionality available in the Travelpayouts dashboard, where applicable. |
| Eligible Project: | a participant’s website/project connected to the Travelpayouts account and meeting the Promotion requirements. |
| Enhanced Viator Rate: | the increased Viator commission rate described in Section 6. |
| Cash Prize Draw: | a random draw for the USD 2,500 cash prize described in Section 7. |
| School Kit Draw: | a random draw for the exclusive Travelpayouts merch described in Section 7. |
| Top of the Class Badge: | a visual badge that may be displayed in the Travelpayouts dashboard for participants who fully enable Drive, subject to these Rules. |
2. PROMOTION TIMELINE
2.1. Promotion period: September 9, 2026, 00:00 — September 23, 2026, 23:59 (GMT+1).
2.2. Assignment completion deadline: participants must complete all 3 Assignments by September 23, 2026, 23:59 (GMT+1).
2.3. Winner selection and announcement: winners of the Cash Prize Draw and School Kit Draw will be selected on or around September 25, 2026, subject to eligibility checks.
2.4. Enhanced Viator Rate application: the Organizer expects to apply the Enhanced Viator Rate on or around September 25, 2026, subject to technical processing and eligibility checks.
2.5. Enhanced Viator Rate validity period: the Enhanced Viator Rate applies to eligible Viator bookings made from October 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 inclusive, subject to these Rules.
2.6. The Organizer may adjust Promotion dates for operational reasons by notifying participants via official channels.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1. The Promotion may be available to selected current Travelpayouts partners and selected leads who:
- receive a Promotion communication from the Organizer or access the Promotion through an official Travelpayouts channel;
- have or manage a website-based project, where applicable;
- meet applicable campaign criteria determined by the Organizer; and
- comply with these Rules, the Travelpayouts Partnership Agreement, advertiser program terms, and applicable Travelpayouts policies.The Promotion is open to selected users who:

The Organizer may make different Assignment versions, messages, calls to action, or Promotion benefits available to different audience groups depending on the participant’s account status, project status, Viator availability, script status, Drive activation status, Drive functionality status, dashboard activity, booking activity, and other campaign criteria.
3.3. The Organizer determines eligibility based on Travelpayouts account data, dashboard data, email interaction data, Assignment completion data, Drive activation status, Drive functionality status, Viator booking data, attribution data, internal technical logs, and other relevant records.
3.4. The Organizer may disqualify a participant who violates these Rules, submits false information, uses prohibited methods, attempts to manipulate Assignment completion, tracking, attribution, or Promotion results, engages in fraudulent or abusive conduct, or violates the Travelpayouts Partnership Agreement, advertiser program terms, or applicable policies.
4. PROMOTION FORMAT AND ASSIGNMENTS
4.1. The Promotion consists of 3 Assignments sent by the Organizer through email and/or made available through other official Travelpayouts channels.
4.2. Each Assignment may include educational content, practical recommendations, links to Travelpayouts materials, expert or partner insights, and a specific action or response required from the participant.
4.3. Assignment 1 may relate to reviewing travel recommendations, tours, activities, Viator opportunities, and/or the participant’s existing content.
4.4. Assignment 2 may relate to reviewing older or high-traffic articles, checking monetization opportunities, checking affiliate links, using Content Analytics where available, or completing another action described in the Assignment.
4.5. Assignment 3 requires the participant to enable Drive or previously disabled Drive functions, as applicable to the participant’s account/project. Depending on the participant’s segment and current Drive setup, the required action may include enabling Drive, re-enabling Drive, enabling Targeted Offers, enabling Switched Links, or enabling other available Drive functions.
4.6. The exact wording and format of Assignments may vary by participant segment. A participant must complete the version of the Assignment made available to that participant by the Organizer.
4.7. The Organizer may send reminder emails or repeated Assignment emails to participants who did not open or engage with previous emails, as determined by the Organizer.
5. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
5.1. To participate in the Promotion and become eligible for the Promotion benefits, a participant must complete all 3 Assignments by the deadline specified in Section 2.2.
5.2. Assignment completion may be determined based on the participant’s email responses, clicks, dashboard actions, Content Analytics activity, Drive activation data, Drive functionality activation data, form submissions, internal technical logs, and/or other available records.
5.3. To receive the Enhanced Viator Rate, a participant must complete all 3 Assignments and meet the Viator eligibility requirements described in these Rules.
5.4. To enter the Cash Prize Draw and School Kit Draw, a participant must complete all 3 Assignments and meet the applicable eligibility requirements under these Rules.
5.5. If the participant is a lead and is required to register in Travelpayouts and enable Drive or Drive functions that were disabled before the start of the Promotion as part of Assignment 3, the participant must complete those actions by the Assignment completion deadline to be eligible for the Promotion benefits.
5.6. The Organizer may determine whether a participant has completed all required actions based on Travelpayouts dashboard data and internal technical logs. In case of discrepancies, the Organizer’s records prevail unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6. ENHANCED VIATOR RATE
6.1. Eligible participants who complete all 3 Assignments may receive an enhanced Viator commission rate for eligible Viator bookings made from October 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 inclusive.
6.2. The Enhanced Viator Rate is 10% instead of 8% for eligible Viator bookings generated through standard Travelpayouts affiliate tools and/or eligible Drive functions, except for bookings generated through Targeted Offers or any other tool/functionality with a separate commission structure. Bookings generated through Targeted Offers are subject to separate commission terms and rates, as communicated by the Organizer and/or determined under Travelpayouts and Viator program terms.
6.3. If a separate commission structure applies to a specific tool, functionality, booking type, or campaign segment, the Organizer may apply the applicable enhanced rate communicated to the participant or otherwise determined under Travelpayouts and advertiser program terms.
6.4. The Enhanced Viator Rate applies only to eligible Viator bookings tracked and attributed in accordance with Travelpayouts tracking rules, the Travelpayouts Partnership Agreement, Viator program terms, dashboard data, attribution data, and internal technical logs.
6.5. The Enhanced Viator Rate may not apply to bookings that are cancelled, rejected, fraudulent, non-commissionable, incorrectly tracked, or otherwise ineligible under Travelpayouts and/or Viator terms.
6.6. The Enhanced Viator Rate is temporary. After December 31, 2026, standard Viator rates may apply, unless otherwise communicated by the Organizer.
7. PRIZE DRAWS AND PRIZES
7.1. Participants who complete all 3 Assignments by the deadline and meet these Rules will be included in:
- the Cash Prize Draw; and
- the Merch Draw.
7.2. Cash Prize: one winner will receive USD 2,500 credited to the winner’s Travelpayouts account balance.
7.3. School Kit Prize (merch): one winner will receive an exclusive Travelpayouts school kit or other equivalent/comparable merchandise determined by the Organizer.
7.4. Winners are selected randomly among eligible participants using a randomizer / random number generator.
7.5. The Organizer may conduct separate random draws for the Cash Prize and School Kit Prize (merch).
7.6. Each eligible participant receives one entry in each applicable draw, unless otherwise expressly stated by the Organizer. Completing the same Assignment multiple times does not increase the participant’s chances of winning.
7.7. Each participant may receive no more than one Cash Prize and no more than one School Kit Prize (merch) under this Promotion.
7.8. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash outside the Travelpayouts platform, except as required by applicable law. The School Kit Prize (merch) may be replaced with comparable merchandise or equivalent-value Travelpayouts account credit if delivery is unavailable, impractical, restricted, or subject to supplier, regional, customs, sanctions, or compliance limitations.
8. TOP OF THE CLASS BADGE
8.1. Participants who fully enable Drive may receive a Top of the Class badge or similar visual recognition in the Travelpayouts dashboard.
8.2. The badge is a non-monetary recognition element and does not have cash value.
8.3. The Organizer determines whether Drive is fully enabled based on the Drive functions available for the relevant account/project, dashboard data, and internal technical logs.
8.4. The Organizer may change, remove, suspend, or replace the badge mechanic at any time for technical, operational, or product reasons.
9. WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION, AND PRIZE DELIVERY
9.1. Winners will be selected on or around September 25, 2026, subject to eligibility checks.
9.2. Winners will be notified via email associated with their Travelpayouts account and/or through other official communication channels.
9.3. The Organizer may also send a general winner announcement or Promotion results communication to participants.
9.4. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to provide required information, fails compliance checks, or is found ineligible within 14 days after notification, the Organizer may select an alternate winner.
9.5. Travelpayouts account balance credits will be credited within a reasonable time after winner confirmation and completion of any required checks.
9.6. Physical prizes or merchandise may require additional information from the winner, including country of residence, delivery details, phone number, or other information reasonably required for delivery and compliance checks.
9.7. Participants are responsible for keeping their account contact details accurate and ensuring the ability to receive communications, including checking spam filters and inbox capacity.
10. COMMUNICATIONS
10.1. The Organizer may send participants administrative and service communications related to the Promotion, including Assignment emails, reminders, Assignment follow-ups, Drive activation instructions, Enhanced Viator Rate information, Prize Draw information, winner notifications, badge information, and related updates.
10.2. Such communications are sent for the purpose of administering the Promotion, explaining participation requirements, and providing information about the benefits described in these Rules.
10.3. The Organizer may also send marketing communications where permitted by applicable law and/or the participant’s communication preferences.
11. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
11.1. The Organizer processes personal data necessary to administer the Promotion, including account identifiers, contact details, website/project information, language/segment data, email interaction data, Assignment response data, dashboard activity data, Drive activation status, Drive functionality status, Viator booking data, Enhanced Viator Rate status, Prize Draw status, badge status, prize delivery information, and related communications, in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.
11.2. Participants may exercise applicable data protection rights by contacting support@travelpayouts.com. The Organizer may request information to verify the requester’s identity.
11.3. The Organizer may process technical event data from emails, dashboard placements, one-page Assignment pages, and other official channels to verify Assignment completion, engagement, and Promotion performance.
12. LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS
12.1. The Organizer is not liable for tracking disruptions, attribution issues, dashboard issues, email delivery failures, third-party outages, Viator program changes, merchandise supplier issues, delivery restrictions, participant-side technical issues, or delays outside the Organizer’s reasonable control.
12.2. The Organizer does not guarantee that completing Assignments, enabling Drive, or enabling any Drive functionality will lead to specific results, revenue, conversion rates, booking volumes, traffic growth, or other performance improvements.
12.3. The Organizer does not guarantee that any participant will win a Prize.
12.4. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer’s liability in connection with the Promotion is limited to the value of the relevant Prize or promotional benefit, where applicable.
13. TAXATION AND COMPLIANCE
13.1. Prizes, merchandise, promotional benefits, and increased commission payments may be subject to taxation under the laws of the participant’s country of tax residence. Participants and winners are solely responsible for their tax obligations.
13.2. If necessary, the Organizer may request documents from a participant or winner required to comply with tax requirements, sanctions compliance, anti-money laundering requirements, KYC/AML checks, customs requirements, or other applicable compliance requirements.
12. MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION
12.1. The Organizer may modify these Rules or terminate the Promotion early in case of force majeure, technical issues, fraud, abuse, tracking problems, Viator program changes, prize or merchandise delivery issues, or changes in policies/law that make the Promotion impossible or impractical.
12.2. Where feasible, the Organizer will provide notice via official channels.

13.2. These Rules come into effect upon publication and remain valid until the Promotion ends and all Organizer obligations to participants/winners are fulfilled.
13.3. Participation in the Promotion constitutes full acceptance of these Rules.
13.4. The Organizer reserves the right to final interpretation of these Rules.
13.5. If any provision of these Rules is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
