Earning forecast

The Forecast section shows how much you can earn from pending bookings and in which month brands are expected to confirm them. This makes it easier to plan your earnings ahead.

Important: the forecast is not a guaranteed payout. Amounts may change when brands confirm or cancel bookings.

Where to find it

In your account, go to Payouts → Earning forecast.

How the forecast is calculated

  • The forecast is based only on pending bookings — those the brand hasn’t confirmed yet.
  • Confirmed and canceled bookings aren’t included.
  • We don’t predict future bookings, and past payouts aren’t used in the calculation.

For each booking, we determine the month the brand is expected to confirm it. Each brand has its own confirmation timing which you also can find on the brands page in your Travelpayouts account. If the month can’t be determined, the booking goes to the “No confirmation date” row.

What happens after confirmation

Once the brand confirms a booking, the rewards move from the forecast to your Balance and are paid out with your next payout, provided you’ve reached the minimum payout threshold for your payout method. Learn more in What is the minimum payout amount and how does it work?

Example. If the confirmation month is October, the earnings are expected to appear in your Balance in October and will be paid out with your next payout.

What the table shows

Column What it means
Confirmation month The month when your bookings are expected to be confirmed by the brand.
Expected Potential earnings for pending bookings with this confirmation month. The amount may change if some bookings are canceled or adjusted.

Which months appear in the forecast

  • The current month comes first. When the month ends, its row leaves the forecast. Bookings the brand hasn’t confirmed stay in the Bookings report with the Pending status.
  • Only months with potential earnings. Months with nothing to forecast aren’t shown in the table.
  • The time range varies. It depends on your bookings: some partners see a few months ahead, others a year or two.

The “No confirmation date” row

This row shows potential earnings for pending bookings whose expected confirmation month we can’t determine. It can rarely happen when the brand doesn’t provide exact data.

This money isn’t lost: once the brand confirms the bookings, the amount will appear on your balance and be paid out with your next payout.

How to view bookings for a month

  1. In the row you need, click View bookings.
  2. The bookings report opens. The report has a Confirmation month column showing the month we expect the brand to confirm the booking.
  3. Filter bookings by status to see which are confirmed and which are canceled.

FAQ

Why did the forecast amount change?

The brand confirmed or canceled some bookings, or new bookings came in. Confirmed bookings move from the forecast to your Balance.

Where can I see confirmed earnings?

At the top right corner of your account, on your balance. Once confirmed, the amount moves from the forecast to your balance and is paid out with your next payout.

Why doesn’t the forecast show the payout month?

The exact payout month can’t be calculated in advance: each payout includes everything confirmed before the payout date. That’s why we show the confirmation month.

Why are some months missing?

No rewards are expected in those months, so we don’t show them.

When will I get the money from the “No confirmation date” row?

Once the brand confirms the bookings: the amount will appear in your Balance and be paid out with your next payout. The exact date isn’t known in advance.

Does the forecast include future potential bookings or predicts future based on past payouts?

No. The forecast is based only on pending bookings already in your statistics.

Why is there more in my Balance than the forecast showed?

The brand confirmed some bookings after the expected month. They were no longer in the forecast, but once confirmed, the earnings moved to your Balance.

Why doesn’t the Bookings report total match the forecast row?

Check the status filter in the report: the forecast includes only pending bookings. If you select all statuses, the report also shows confirmed and canceled bookings.
