The Travelpayouts Referral Program is aimed at increasing the number of participants in the Partner Platform by attracting them through existing participants (partners) and is also recognized as one of the partner programs. For the purposes of the Referral Program, Travelpayouts acts as the Advertiser in accordance with the definition of this term set out in the Terms of the Travelpayouts Travel Affiliate Network.

Key terms

All other terms shall have the meanings assigned to them by the Terms of the Travelpayouts Travel Affiliate Network and the applicable platform rules.

Who can participate

2.1. There are two parties in the program:

• an existing Travelpayouts partner, as the Referrer;
• a new Travelpayouts user, as the Referral.

2.2. A user is considered a Referral only if all of the following conditions are met simultaneously:

• the user followed the Referrerr’s Referral Link;
• after following the link, the user registered a new account with Travelpayouts;
• the account was correctly attributed in the Travelpayouts system to the relevant Referrer;
• the user did not previously have a Travelpayouts account;
• the user does not violate these Rules, the Terms of the Travelpayouts Travel Affiliate Network, or any other applicable platform rules.

2.3. Only one Referral Account is counted within the Referral Program.

2.4. If Travelpayouts determines that the same person, group of persons, or related user has created two or more accounts to participate in the referral program, Travelpayouts has the right to:

• recognize only one of such accounts as participating in the program;
• exclude the remaining accounts from the referral program;
• cancel the Referral Bonus credited to such accounts;
• deduct previously paid amounts from future payouts;
• block the participation of the relevant users in the program.

2.5. Travelpayouts independently determines which accounts are related based on its technical, payment, registration, and other data.

How to become a Referrer

3.1. The Referrer copies the Referral Link in their Travelpayouts account and places it:

• on websites they own;
• in social media accounts they own;
• in channels, blogs, newsletters, and other promotion channels they own or lawfully manage.

3.2. The Referrer may not place the Referral Link in ways that:

• violate the law;
• violate Travelpayouts rules;
• violate the rules of advertising systems, platforms, or third parties;
• mislead users;
• create a false impression that the link is posted on behalf of Travelpayouts.

3.3. If the Referrer places the Referral Link, information about the Referral Program, or any other materials related to the Travelpayouts Referral Program in a format recognized as advertising under applicable law, the Referrer must independently ensure compliance with advertising labeling requirements and any other mandatory legal requirements.

How to become a Referral

Which actions and revenue are counted

5.1. For the purposes of the Referral Program, only the Referral’s Qualified Revenue is taken into account.

5.2. Qualified Revenue includes only commission that is:

• from bookings with the status “Paid”;
• reflected in the Travelpayouts system;
• recognized by Travelpayouts as confirmed for the purposes of the program.

5.3. Qualified Revenue does not include:

• revenue from other partner programs;
• revenue from canceled bookings;
• revenue from bookings whose status changed from “Paid” to “Canceled”;
• amounts canceled, adjusted, or reversed in the Travelpayouts system;
• any other amounts that Travelpayouts, based on its data, does not recognize as subject to accounting under the referral program.

5.4. Partners participating in other Travelpayouts partner programs do not participate in the Referral Program and are not counted either for the purpose of awarding bonuses to the Referrer or for awarding bonuses to the Referral.

Bonuses for the Referral

6.1. The Referral may receive up to USD 100 in total:

6.2. The first USD 25 credited under Stage 1 of clause 5.1 of the Referral Program Rules is reflected in the Referral’s account after the relevant conditions are fulfilled, but it cannot be withdrawn until the Referral’s Qualified Revenue reaches USD 50.

6.3. If the Referral’s Qualified Revenue does not reach USD 50, the said USD 25 remains unavailable for withdrawal.

Bonuses for the Referrer

7.1. The Referrer may receive up to USD 600 for one Referral:

7.2. The Referral Bonus to the Referrer is credited not when the Referral reaches the relevant revenue threshold, but only after the Referral successfully withdraws funds.

7.3. For the Referral Bonus to be credited to the Referrer, the following conditions must be met simultaneously:

• the Referral’s Qualified Revenue has reached the relevant stage provided for by the Rules;
• after reaching that stage, the Referral has successfully withdrawn funds from their balance in Travelpayouts.

7.4. Travelpayouts determines whether these conditions are met based on its system data. If the Referral has reached the relevant revenue threshold but has not successfully withdrawn funds, the Referral Bonus to the Referrer is not credited until such withdrawal occurs.

7.5. If, after reaching the previous stage, the Referral has already successfully withdrawn funds, Travelpayouts may count such withdrawal for the purpose of crediting the Referral Bonus for the next stage, provided that Travelpayouts’ internal system data confirms that the conditions of the relevant stage have been met.

Recalculation and deduction of the Referral Bonuses

8.1. Travelpayouts may recalculate, reduce, or deduct the Referral Bonus if, after it has been credited:

• the booking was canceled;
• the booking status changed from paid to cancelled;
• the commission was reduced, reversed, or canceled;
• a technical error was discovered;
• a violation of these Rules was discovered;
• signs of fraud, manipulation, or abuse of the program were discovered.

8.2. If, after the Referral Bonus has been credited, it turns out that the relevant commission or booking should not have been counted, Travelpayouts may reduce the participant’s balance by the amount of the overcredited the Referral Bonus, deduct such amount from future payouts, and reflect the adjustment in the Account interface.

Currency and special rules

9.1. All thresholds and the Referral Bonuses in the referral program are stated in USD.

9.2. If, under the rules of the local market, payment system, or the terms of a specific payout, settlement must be made in Russian rubles, the amount in rubles is determined based on the USD equivalent at the OpenChange exchange rate on the date of accrual.

Restrictions and prohibitions

10.1. Participants in the referral program are prohibited from:

• registering an account through their own Referral Link;
• creating multiple accounts to receive the Referral Bonuses;
• attracting Referrals using false information;
• using fraud, artificial inflation, mass fake registrations, dummy accounts, or other unfair methods of participation;
• using traffic sources or promotion methods prohibited by Travelpayouts rules;
• impersonating Travelpayouts, a Travelpayouts representative, or an official Travelpayouts employee without proper authority;
• violating the law, third-party rights, the rules of platforms, advertising systems, and payment providers;
• violating the Terms of the Travelpayouts Travel Affiliate Network, the rules of individual partner programs, and the rules of advertising platforms.

10.2. Travelpayouts has the right not to credit the Referral Bonus or to cancel its accrual if:

• the user was not correctly linked to the Referrer;
• the user is not a new Travelpayouts user;
• the conditions of the relevant stage have not been met;
• the revenue achieved is not Qualified Revenue;
• the revenue was generated through CPC partners;
• related accounts were identified;
• an Account registered through its own Referral Link was identified;
• signs of abuse of the program or the Terms of the Travelpayouts Travel Affiliate Network were identified;
• signs of manipulation, abuse, fraud, or technical circumvention of the program were identified;
• the accrual occurred as a result of a technical error.

Effect of the previous version of the Referral Program

11.1. The previous version of the referral program remains in effect only with respect to obligations that have already arisen under the previously applicable terms.

11.2. New Referral registrations after the effective date of this version participate in the current Referral Program. Such new registrations are subject to the new the Referral Bonus structure described in these Rules.

Travelpayouts system data

12.1. For the purposes of the Referral Program, Travelpayouts uses its system data as the basis for determining:

• the fact of registration via a Referral Link;
• the presence or absence of attribution;
• the amount of Qualified Revenue;
• the date of reaching the relevant stage;
• the fact of successful withdrawal of funds;
• the existence of grounds for recalculation, deduction, or cancellation of the Referral Bonus.

12.2. In the event of a dispute, Travelpayouts system data shall prevail unless otherwise required by mandatory provisions of applicable law.

12.3. In the Travelpayouts account dashboard, participants may see, among other things:

• the Referral’s status;
• stages of fulfillment of the conditions;
• the amount of accrued, frozen, available, and adjusted the Referral Bonus;
• the fact of withdrawal of funds (in the Referrer’s Account);
• the date of withdrawal of funds (in the Referral’s Account);
• other statistics related to participation in the referral program.

Amendment and termination of the Referral  Program

13.1. Travelpayouts may at any time amend these Referral Program Rules, including changing the Referral Bonu amounts, stages, criteria, and the list of counted actions, as well as restricting, suspending, or terminating the referral program in whole or in part.

13.2. A new version of the Referral Program Rules shall apply from the date of its publication on the page at https://support.travelpayouts.com/ , unless otherwise expressly stated in the text of the rules. 

13.3. At the same time, changes will not affect the Referral Bonuses that have already been accrued and confirmed, except in cases of recalculation due to canceled or adjusted the Referral Bonus, technical error, violation of the program rules, fraud, or abuse.

If a dispute arises

14.1. Travelpayouts has the right to make the final decision on issues of Referral attribution, traffic qualification, confirmation of stage completion, calculation of revenue and the Referral Bonuses, as well as the existence of violations or abuse.

14.2. The Terms of the Travelpayouts Travel Affiliate Network, payout rules, and other platform documents also apply to relations within the referral program to the extent applicable.
