How to check the cookie entry

Travelpayouts uses cookies to link bookings to affiliates who made these bookings. These are special files used by the browser to store various information. We record a partner ID there. You can read more about it in the introductory article.

Note: some travel brands write data into a cookie file in encrypted form. In this case, you will not be able to find your partner ID there.

Checking the cookie entry through the browser console

It’s a quick and easy way. Just bring up the browser’s console and enter a special command in it.

The console is a browser tool that allows you to see the errors that have occurred in the process of displaying the website.

Browsers: Chrome, Opera, FireFox, IE and Yandex

In Windows OS you can press F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I.

In MacOS you can also press F12 or follow this path:

Enter document.cookie in the console and find your partner ID (press ctrl+F to activate the search string).

In addition, cookie entries can be viewed through the Application. Click the Application tab and select the website you want to validate the cookie for from the cookies section menu. In the search box, enter your partner ID:
