Examples of integration
Main properties
- Form size can be flexibly configured, with the ability to set any width from 200px to 940px, or it can be responsive.
- The form is available in seven bundled color themes. You can also manually specify a color for the form (changing the color of the background, border, text, icons, and buttons).
- The upper part of the form contains a logo (which can be disabled if necessary). We do not recommend hiding the logo since our trademark increases the trust placed in forms and, therefore, improves conversion rates. In addition, when the logo is clicked, an affiliate marker (a cookie) is placed on the client computer, meaning that all sales from the logo are counted for our affiliates.
- The lower part of the form contains a constantly updated Best Deals section (which can be disabled).
- The form is available in English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, and Italian.
The form code can be copied from your dashboard under Programs -> Aviasales -> Tools -> Search forms and Programs -> Aviasales -> Tools -> Search forms.
How to add a search form to an article page in WordPress
You can use our plugin for WordPress.
Form builder (for independent development)
You can use our special form builder to create your own form and integrate it into the design of your site. Go to the affiliate dashboard and then to the Search forms tab. Click the Create new search form button to create a form and click the Edit button to edit it. In the window that opens, you can configure the appearance and content of the search form:
- Color scheme — the choice of the form design scheme
- Module type — types of search in the form (only air, only hotels, both types of search)
- Show logo — show / hide Aviasales logo
- Border radius — the radius of fillet rounding
- Default tab — determines which tab will be opened on the default form — airline tickets or hotels
- Form name — the name of the form displayed in the list of forms
- Default origin — the city of departure, which is displayed in the search form when the user enters the page with the form
- Default destination — the arrival city, which is displayed in the search form when the user enters the page with the form
- Depart date (flights), Return date (flights) — date of departure and return, which will be indicated in the form by default
- Default City/Hotel — displayed if the hotel form is added
- Check in date (hotel), Check out date (hotel) — the date of arrival and departure from the hotel, which will be installed in the default form
- Language — the language of the search form
- Currency — the currency in which the cost of tickets in the search results is displayed
- Flights. Domain — the domain that is used to search for flights
- Hotels. Domain — the domain that is used to search for hotels
- Additional marker (Sub ID) — using an additional marker in the statistics it is convenient to separate the flows of visitors from different sources
- Open in — select how you want to open search results
- in a new window or tab
- in the same frame
To track the ratio of profitable clicks to the total number of clicks for different forms on different sites or pages, add a unique additional marker, which is displayed in the statistics on your dashboard.
If you need a unique form that fully "meshes" with your design, use HTML. HTML and CSS knowledge is necessary for this customization. You can learn more about this here.
Affiliate links can go both to pages on http://www.aviasales.com and to search results for a specific route. In addition, you can create links for a specific ticket. For documentation on creating affiliate links, go here.
Links are created on your dashboard under Programs -> Aviasales -> Tools -> Links generator and Programs -> Hotellook -> Tools -> Links generator.
Banners
We recommended using search forms, which are the most effective sales tool. However, if you prefer banners, you can download them from your dashboard, under the Programs -> Aviasales -> Tools -> Banners and Programs -> Hotellook -> Tools -> Banners.
To place a banner on your site, download the image and place it in the necessary location on your page, being sure to indicate your affiliate code in the link.
WordPress Plugin
We offer a special plugin for WordPress blogs. You can download it from the WordPress catalog of plugins. If you are a travel blogger or simply want to create a travel blog, this plugin will help you!
More information about the plugin you can find here.
White Label
White Label is a search powered by Aviasales or Hotellook that is integrated into the design of your site. If you have White Label configured, the user will see search results on a subdomain of your site. If White Label is not configured, users will be redirected during search to jetradar.com or hotellook.com.
If you want to start an online travel agency business or your own travel business, you can use White Label; all clients will stay on your website.
