The Travelpayouts Extension for Google Chrome helps you create affiliate links quickly and easily — without logging in to your Travelpayouts account. It saves time, streamlines your content workflow, and makes monetization more convenient.

What is the Travelpayouts Extension for Google Chrome?

The Travelpayouts Chrome Extension is a browser tool that allows you to generate affiliate links from any page on the web, even if you’re not currently browsing a travel brand’s website.

Think of it as a deep link generator outside of your Travelpayouts account.

What’s new?

In May 2025, we released a new version of the Chrome extension, where we fixed the following:

  • Links are now shortened using Travelpayouts’ shortener, not third-party services (like TinyURL)
  • Extension now supports delegated access — your delegates and team members can authorize to Chrome extension and create links
  • Shortened links now include the brand name, making them more trustworthy
  • Links created through the extension now appear in the content analytics report
  • You can now generate QR codes directly in the extension, which is ideal for YouTube, social media, PDFs, etc.
  • Seamless login via API token — just one click to authorize safely and instantly

How to install the extension

  1. Sign up on Travelpayouts
  2. Connect to your preferred affiliate programs
  3. Follow this link to the Travelpayouts Chrome Extension page and download the extension.
  4. Once installed, the extension icon will appear next to your Chrome address bar.
  5. Click on the extension icon to complete authorization. Make sure you’re logged in to your Travelpayouts account using the same browser.


How to use the extension

Option 1: On a travel brand's website

  1. Open the needed brand’s website. The extension will appear at the top of the page. If you are already connected to this brand’s program in your Travelpayouts account with a given Project, the extension will look like this:
  2. Navigate to the desired page, for example, a specific tour or hotel.
  3. The extension will automatically show a ready-to-use affiliate link on top.
  4. You can select the needed Project, optionally add a SubID to track bookings made using this link in your statistics.
  5. To copy the link, click on the following button:
  6. You can also copy the QR code if needed
  7. Paste the link into your blog, post, video description, or any content format, or embed the QR code.

Note! If you're not yet connected to the program, the extension will prompt you to do so.

Just click Connect and follow the instructions in this article to connect to the program.

Tip: Watch the green light

  • The extension icon shows a green circle if you are connected to the brand’s program with at least one Project
  • It helps you instantly know if you can generate affiliate links on the current page

Option 2: Without opening the brand website

  1. Click on the Travelpayouts icon in your browser toolbar while you are on a random page. By default, you will see the link to the main page of the brand’s website that you’ve last used the extension on:
  2. Select the Project where you want to place the link.
  3. Paste the needed link in the Link to convert field, and copy the ready affiliate link.
  4. If you are not connected to the program with the selected Project, the extension will suggest that you do so:

Extension Settings

Click the Settings button to access the settings tab:

Here you can enable/disable the link creation panel that appears on travel brand websites.
